Midge Whitelegg PhD, FNIMH. is a biographical counsellor and medical herbalist and was formerly employed as senior lecturer at the University of Central Lancashire. She spent a number of years on the council of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists, with two years as president, and served as co-chair of the research and development committee of the Prince of Wales’ Foundation for Integrated Health. She was a trustee of the local Steiner School in Lancaster. She has undertaken training in Goethean science and works with this methodology running plant study and biography workshops.

Margli Matthews PG Dip Counselling, Dip. Biographical Counselling, Cert Supervision, MBACP (accred.), CAHSC Registered, is a biographical counsellor, trainer and supervisor with over 25 years experience in adult education and private practice. A former faculty member of Emerson College and the Centre for Social Development, she is co-founder of the Biography and Social Development Trust and directed the Diploma Course in Biographical Counselling for 21 years. Consultant to the Diploma Course, Margli leads training courses and workshops and contributes to many courses and conferences throughout the world on biographical, social and therapeutic themes. She is a contributor to the book Lifeways and co-author of Ariadne’s Awakening, a book concerned with a new consciousness of the feminine and masculine principles in our lives.

Mary McArthy, SRN HV, Diploma in Biographical Counselling, Cruse Bereavement worker, is a biographical counsellor working both in the community and in prisons. A large part of her work is with grief through bereavement. She also offers biography work in groups.

Dip. Biographical Counselling, Registered member, MBACP (accred), Cert Family Therapy, Jane graduated as a Biographical Counsellor in 2007 and has been working in private practice since that time.  In 2012 she co-founded the Elysia Therapeutic Centre in Stourbridge, (West Midlands) and was active with the work of marketing. She currently runs her private practice there alongside being employed part time by Gloucestershire Counselling Service in their child and family therapy team working with systemic principles.
